About the city of São Paulo The city of São Paulo is the second largest metropolis of Latin America in terms of population - almost 11 million inhabitants. Founded in 1554 by the Jesuits, today S. Paulo is considered one of the five larger metropolitan areas of the world. It is the financial and cultural centre of Brazil and the largest consumer and producer market of the country. From May 15th throough 20th, the exposition will take place in the city of Ribeirão Preto, in the state of São Paulo. It’s the greatest agro-cattle exposition of the country and one of the world’s largest this sector. It covers 190 thousand square meters and welcomes an average 150 thousand visitors yearly.
