This program seeks to increase agriculture’s contribution to economic growth and sustainable development. It stems from the notion that the bioeconomy can foster production development, by generating relevant knowledge and information to support decision-making.

Through the program, IICA assists member countries in designing strategies, policies, investments and regulations that will allow them to harness the potential of the bioeconomy in an inclusive and sustainable way.
